A well piloted HAMgu will finish sites quicker then a HMLgu anyhow. Even prepatch this is true, postpatch even more so. Well, true in at least 9 out of 10 cases anyhow. There are a couple of sites where HMLgu's have a clear cut advantage.

I really like the tip about Oracle. A Tach Oracle with a T2 fit and 4x Heat Sinks easily does 800 DPS at 65km Range. As long as you don't get caught by frigs this would allow you to relatively easily take out high bounty ships at great speed.

Proteus is in many ways my favorite T3. And stuff such as the 100 vs 125 Bandwidth for drones is EXACTLY how T2 vs T3 should be! If anything every other T3 should be modelled after the Proteus!

Who says they're for carriers? ;) And who says you even need to use them at a Drone ship to get the wanted effect? Many ships already benefit more DPS wise by fitting a DDU instead of a fourth damage upgrade to their primary weapon system for inst...
